Roshni Mangar is a masters student at the University of British Columbia at Project Seahorse, in the Institute of Oceans and Fisheries. Her research focuses on the bottom trawling industry in Asia, which is a very destructive fishing method that is destroying ocean ecosystems worldwide. In this episode, she talks about the ecosystem effects, as well as the impacts on the human rights of the fishers involved in this industry.
